WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR YOUR FAMILY , PEOPLE OR COMMUNITY?





 Meet the,
 Moi University Students Association(MUMSA)members  who on Thursday visited two Muslim high-schools to inspire Muslim students,
 to work smart and join campuses all over the country.Lead by their imam and chair Ali said whose a      finalist pursuing Electrical and Communication Engineering in Moi Main campus.

The speakers  who are students from different faculties, took this initiative  after a research showing that there  are very few Muslim students in higher institutions of learning, all over the country.

The first school was Makunda Muslim  next to the famous Mumias Sugar company,the response was positive and fast ,giving the speakers the morale to inspire them.The speakers installed confidence on focus in their studies.Encouraging them to work  smart to move to the next level. Emphasis were also made on being good muslims and playing their roles accordingly.

Few students who impressed the speakers by showing great confidence and contribution were  awarded various gifts.

Muslim boys was the second school, the reception here was a bit slow and irritating,both students and teachers taking centuries to assemble.With only a quarter of the populus population of muslim boys showing up,the majority in  form 1, discouraging most speakers who lost the psyche to motivate and inspire the students.Only two speakers  managed to talk as it was already late.

 The issue of indiscipline was evident and emphasized by  both speakers, "There's a somali kid who was pinched, within 10mins, his dad landed  on a chopper questioning the teacher for pinching the son".One of the teachers  said to us.
It is reported that their is alot of  indiscipline in the school, majority of the students being somalis and kids from the Coast. Many also from rich backgrounds who have  lost focus and hope in their studies.

"It was an initiative that will help muslim students get focused  to working hard and valuing education.The Mumsa members who sponsored their trip are playing their part ensuring that the muslim  umma(society) is well informed.This is their sadaqa(charity)".According to one communication and publicrelations student.

    well work, most pupils should be encouraged to attend school,because school removes stupidity and one becomes smart even in thinking.
