To the young mothers in campus. I want to talk to you as a woman. I have learnt some important life lessons especially from the university. The fact that you got a kid should make you smarter in how you see the world. You might be a mommy by choice or not, that is: you were not psychologically prepared. Some people mock ... how can you not be prepared and yet you are engaging in adult stuff…? Well, when you fresh from high school as a young intellect who is so much focused and you just got to campus, met some TDH (Tall, Dark Handsome) guy from wherever. You love his vibe. You want to make friends and you innocently fall in love; before you know it… you making out with this guy… you are making love… You know! Shit happens. Whichever the reason… you should be prepared to face the world in a different and a new perspective. You have to know that you are different from your classmates or your age mates who are still single. You are a mother and there is a kid somewhere who is looking...

What happens when the lecturers go on strike for quite long? You don't know whether to go home?or stay in school or get a job?It's so confusing because you really cannot make a sound decision when a lot is unpredictable. Going home is obviously stressful.If you have cows you gar to wake up early before your cock's cock-a -doodle-doo..to milk the cows, take the milk to the dairy ,or prepare breakfast for your younger siblings or whatever you do in the morning that really sickens you. The option of remaining in isolated hostel rooms is tiring,you wake up in campus ,watch movies the whole day visit the few friends who are still around or sleep during the day ,to at-least shorten the time span you are literally alive thinking of when the lecturers are gonna call the strike off. A friend of mine tells me there's Wi-fi ,but i guess you get tired streaming the whole day especially if it has become a routine. Seeking a job ,sound really brilliant,but oops... you leave camp...

Today ,i'm gonna be speaking to young ladies who have done an exemplary job ,succeeded to score excellent grades in high school.After a long journey of burning the midnight oil,focusing on your studies,you have finally made it to college ,university or any other tertiary institution of your dreams.I'm saying congratulations. As you go to campus,i'm telling you in advance,PLEASE do not fall in love. Why i'm saying this? Thousands of young intellects with great potential make it to campus ,but innocently ruin their lives, waste their time by being in love. when you  watch it,you think it's easy,and everyone can do it,but when tasked with the duty,you appreciate what others do. Trained as a media student,i really didn't understand what media really is, for me media was everything appearing on TV. haa! ha! cant stop laughing at myself when i look back. With the exams around the corner, Moi university students are alert and focused,no intellect can simply  afford to fail. The MTL library is full of students and the twostorey building seems smaller than usual,students flock the place decorating every corner with all sorts of fashion.Sure enough  no one has time to spot those cute stilettos or that hot pink  mini exposing those yellow hips ,all focus on the white paper being revised. Concentration  is at the peak during exam period,  Not a new thing at Moi university, students know clearly what they aim to achieve at the end of it all. Exam cheating is one of the trending vices in campuses all over the nation, while corruption has become the order of the day in the country,students are keen on playing their part and emulating  the  politicians,as  they also device shortcuts to success. With exam malpractices at the peak on the last years KCSE.The levels are now worrying as intellects continue to cheat daily. With few lecturers supervising hundreds of students in the lecture halls ,it is proving difficult to attain effective exam supervision,   As students have mutated exam cheating methods beyond imagination, Girls are said to write on the thighs and they simply have to lift their skirts or shorts to copy the text, while others book positions before the exams,writing pri entry to the exam room. As much as government work places are boring and always dull,according to most intellects, certain ministries are up to date, Inside KICD A section at the printing press. when Moi university students visited the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development, most of them fell in love with the place.  KICD is based in Ngara Nairobi and it's one of the coolest government places the students approved, this is where the curriculum  is developed, from the basic nursery to the most advanced higher institutions of learning. Working for the government seems boring to most intellects who are still in campus,energetic and have the competitive minds.  Psychologically most students view government ordinary workplaces as boring and dull,and always associate it with poor pay. wherever you come from? Every  morning cleaners  flood the environs of Moi university armed with their tools :brushes,detergents, mops and brooms,their main objective is to make windows shine,and leave  floors sparkling. With all this effort in place, it's quite embarrassing to meet the place dirty with rot everywhere by mid-morning. No one can dare enter the loos of any hostel however  pressed one is.  who is responsible for the cleanliness around campus? It's always been a blame game.The cleaners playing saints, making students the criminals, while the students  curse the cleaners daily for lazying around their source of income.
