WHEN DIRT WELCOMES YOU RIGHT AT YOUR DOOR FRONT.

how clean is your environment?

Every  morning cleaners  flood the environs of Moi university armed with their tools :brushes, detergents, mops and brooms, their main objective is to make windows shine, and leave  floors sparkling.

With all this effort in place, it's quite embarrassing to meet the place dirty with rot everywhere by mid-morning. No one can dare enter the loos of any hostel however  pressed one is.

who is responsible for the cleanliness around campus?

It's always been a blame game. The cleaners playing saints, making students the criminals, while the students  curse the cleaners daily for lazying around their source of income.

Who would imagine that a classy campus intellect lady sitting in that lecture hall, well claded on that official miniskirt and those wedges  is responsible for the porridge floods in hostel J?

Or she simply woke up and hurriedly poured last night's ugali in the bathroom blocking the whole system.
while the roommate went brushing her teeth  on the kitchen sink  this morning.

Not  forgetting the one who splashed the room below with the dirty water, after mopping her
dusty room, reason?  bathrooms are too far to walk
.

Just the other day, the  VC  was taken around campus, seeing with his own eyes the despicable conditions in which students in a higher institution of learning  thrive, all kinds of dirt  decorating the serene fields.
Everyone blaming the cleaners, but who is the real  polluter of the environment?

Apart from the red-cross club that takes the initiative of collecting and burning this rot, everybody else is a spectator and a critic.

This is highly disappointing as students are focusing too much on the outside and forgetting their environment ,yet they are the ones living in this environment.

When you think Uni education is something yet life still throws shit on your face.

What happens when the lecturers go on strike for quite long? You don't know whether to go home?or stay in school or get a job? It's so confusing because you really cannot make a sound decision when a lot is unpredictable. Going home is obviously stressful. If you have cows you gar to wake up early before your cock's cock-a -doodle-doo..to milk the cows, take the milk to the dairy ,or prepare breakfast for your younger siblings or whatever you do in the morning that really sickens you. The option of remaining in isolated hostel rooms is tiring, you wake up in campus ,watch movies the whole day visit the few friends who are still around or sleep during the day ,to at-least shorten the time span you are literally alive thinking of when the lecturers are gonna call the strike off. A friend of mine tells me there's Wi-fi ,but i guess you get tired streaming the whole day especially if it has become a routine. Seeking a job ,sound really brilliant, but oops... you leave camp...
